| BASIC THERAPEUTIC ATTITUDE |
| |
|
The integrative approach is an attempt to combine counseling and therapeutic modalities that have been tried and proven in the therapy and management of a multiplicity of postmodern life situations and problems with a view to helping clients develop as wide a spectrum of strategies as possible for coping with daily life. Based on depth-psychological hermeneutics and a relational, dialogic stance, techniques from behavior, gestalt and body therapy and psychodrama are offered to help clients work on their problems. Creative media and other techniques are employed to promote nonverbal expression. Thus, a wide variety of different levels of self-expression can be cautiously 'addressed'.
